Director of the Japan Aikido Association. He is dedicated to promoting Aikido, serving as a master instructor at Shidokan, Kishukan, Ryosyo-kai, and Ryoko-kai, as a master instructor at Shizuoka University Sports Aikido Club, and as a master instructor at the West Japan Aikido Competition Federation.
Supervisor ◎ Shishida Fumiaki Master instructor at the Japan Aikido Association and Waseda University Aikido Club. Professor at the Faculty of Sports Sciences at the same university, and holds a PhD in human sciences. Specializes in intellectual history and martial arts theory. His publications include "The Educational Power of Martial Arts: Martial Arts Education at the National University of Manchukuo." Received the Sports History Society Award in 2006.
